MAKING GENERAL SURGERY AVAILABLE TO ALL IN RURAL NORTH DAKOTA Dr. Mary Aaland, center, taught a “stop the bleed” class in Linton in November. The program teaches nonmedical people how to apply tourniquets and pack open bleeding wounds.
