The North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives (NDAREC) welcomes Hope Sisk as managing editor of North Dakota Living, strengthening the magazine’s commitment to sharing the stories of North Dakota’s electric cooperatives and the communities they serve.
Sisk brings experience in journalism, marketing and digital communications. As a television news reporter, she traveled the state covering the people, places and events that shape North Dakota. Along the way, she developed a passion for telling stories that inform, inspire and bring communities together. She also has experience in marketing, social media and video production, helping organizations connect with audiences across multiple platforms.
As managing editor, Sisk will oversee the magazine’s day-to-day editorial production, working with writers, photographers, designers and contributors to create each monthly issue. She will also help expand the magazine’s storytelling through digital content, social media and video, ensuring readers can connect with North Dakota Living in more ways than ever before.
Sisk joins Communications Director Clarice Kesler, who leads statewide communications for North Dakota’s electric cooperatives. With decades of communications experience, Kesler provides the magazine's editorial direction while overseeing NDAREC's broader communications strategy, including digital communications, social media, video, branding and strategic communications. Together, Kesler and Sisk will guide the magazine’s editorial vision while continuing to strengthen its connection to the association's broader communications efforts.
