VCSU adds shooting sportsWith a renowned fisheries and wildlife program, a new shooting sports team and numerous outdoor recreation opportunities, Valley City State University (VCSU) offers the perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy their hobbies and pursue their careers.
VCSU is excited to offer competitive shooting as a co-ed intercollegiate sport for students starting with the 2024-25 season. Shooting sports was previously a student-led club on campus, but now joins a list of successful intercollegiate teams at VCSU. Tuition assistance is available for members of the shooting sports team.
The VCSU fisheries and wildlife science program prepares students for careers as wildlife biologists, game wardens, environmental scientists, fisheries technicians or other related areas. The degree includes numerous opportunities for hands-on experience, including assisting in projects with groups such as the N.D. Game and Fish Department.
