Appreciating veterans – Dakota Leathernecks open Marine House

Nov. 11 is Veterans Day nationwide, when communities pause and honor all who have served, sacrificed in military service for the United States.

 • U.S. Marine Corps veterans remain active, engaged in continuing fellowship, camaraderie through the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) League, a national organization of USMC veterans.

“The important point is that all storage options should keep the grain dry and provide adequate aeration to control grain temperature,” says North Dakota State University Extension Agricultural Engineer Ken Hellevang. “Grain must be dry and cool (near the average outdoor temperature) when placed in alternative storage facilities, because providing adequate, uniform airflow to dry grain or cool grain coming from a dryer is not feasible.”

Also presented are identifications and photos of candidates in other statewide races, including races for agriculture commissioner, attorney general, secretary of state, tax commissioner and one position as Supreme Court justice.

As part of each candidate identification, formal political party affiliation is provided. Where political party affiliation is not relevant to a candidate’s identification, the race is identified as nonpartisan, or the candidacy is identified as an independent nomination.
